NCM explains climatic features for March

The National Center of Meteorology explains the climatic features for the month of March:

• Temperatures begin to rise especially during the second half of the month. Spring begins geographically on the 21st, with the sun being perpendicular to the equator, then heading north towards the Tropic of Cancer.

• The country will be affected by surface and upper air pressure systems from west to east, which may go deep into the upper layers of the atmosphere, leading to the formation of convective clouds accompanied by rainfall and fresh winds leading to blowing dust, especially over open areas.

• The prevailing winds are southeasterly to southwesterly at the end of the night and morning, turning northwesterly and northeasterly during the afternoon and evening due to the influence of the land/sea breeze cycle.

• The percentage of humidity in the air decreases slightly, especially in the second half of the month. The average relative humidity will be 51% which gives the chance for fog formation or light mist in scattered areas.
