Regulation of Sharjah’s traffic fine exemption percentage

Chaired by Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi… “Sharjah Executive” issues a decision regulating the exemption percentage of traffic fines in the emirate, effective April 1, 2023.

• 35% discount if payment is made within 60 days from the date of committing the violation, and the scope of the exemption includes the financial fine, the vehicle impoundment, and all delayed fines if any. 25% discount if payment is made after 60 days and before one year from the date of the violation, and it shall include the financial fine only.
• The financial fine, the impoundment, and the delay fine shall be settled in full if the violator pays after one year from the date of committing the traffic violation.
• The discount decision excludes serious traffic violations.
