Ibrahim Al Jarwan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Astronomical Society: On Monday, February 20, at 11:06 AM, local time, the crescent of Sha’ban 1444 AH will be born after the conjunction takes place.

The crescent will remain above the western horizon for 14 minutes after sunset, marking the first day of Shaaban on Tuesday, February 21, 2023.
