Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed visits Al Hosn Festival 2023

H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has visited Al Hosn Festival 2023, accompanied by a number of Sheikhs.

During the visit, Sheikh Theyab toured artisan-led activities and exhibitions, and witnessed a musical performance.

The 10-day festival, which is organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism — Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), celebrates the UAE’s traditional heritage and contemporary creativity.

H.H. Sheikh Theyab was also accompanied by H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Zayed bin Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan bin Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Zayed bin Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Khalifa bin Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan; Sheikh Tahnoun bin Saeed bin Saif bin Mohammed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Hamdan bin Saeed bin Saif bin Mohammed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Hamdan Al Nahyan; and Sheikh Mubarak bin Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan.

He was also accompanied by Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman, DCT Abu Dhabi; Saood Abdulaziz Al Hosani, Under-Secretary, DCT Abu Dhabi; and Salama Nasser Al Shamsi, Director of Cultural Sites, DCT Abu Dhabi.

Al Hosn Festival 2023, which takes place at Qasr Al Hosn in Abu Dhabi until 22nd January, features music and cultural performances, film screenings, art installations, live craft and design demonstrations, competitions highlighting Emirati cultural excellence, creative workshops, retail pop-ups, and a variety of culinary experiences.

The festival also features the Makers Village, offering unique items created by artists and designers from local and regional concept stores; and The House of Artisans, offering sensory tours and drop-in workshops.
