NCM: The UAE is affected by a surface air pressure system

The National Center of Meteorology announce the weather forecast from Thursday, December 8, to Sunday, December 11, 2022:

• The UAE is affected by a surface air pressure system extending from the southeast accompanied by moist southeastern and northeastern winds and an extension of an upper air pressure from the west, accompanied by a cold air mass.

• Weather from Thursday to Sunday: Partly cloudy to cloudy at times, with the probability of convective clouds formation, specially on Saturday and Sunday, accompanied by light to moderate rain, lightning, and thunder in scattered areas with a drop in temperature.

• Winds: Northwesterly winds gradually freshening over the sea on Thursday and might become strong at times on Friday and Saturday. Moderate to fresh winds with clouds over the land.

• Sea: gradually rough from Thursday night and very rough at times on Friday and Saturday in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in Oman Sea.
