Mansour bin Zayed raises UAE Flag at ceremony at Qasr Al Watan

H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, has extended his greetings to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai; Their Highnesses the Members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates; Their Highnesses the Crown Princes; and all citizens and residents of the UAE, on the occasion of “Flag Day”.

Sheikh Mansour on Thursday raised the country’s flag while the national anthem played in the background at a ceremony held at Qasr Al Watan.

On this occasion, His Highness said, “The UAE Flag will continue to flutter in the sky of glory and sovereignty, thanks to the vision and wisdom of the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and the efforts of the UAE people who stand behind the leadership of their country to remain a fortress of honour, a home of dignity, a beacon of pride and an oasis of peace and tolerance.”

“On Flag Day, we recall our leadership’s cohesion under the UAE flag, remembering the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Founding Fathers of the nation and the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, whose great efforts and sacrifices led to our nation’s development journey,” he added.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Ministry of Presidential Court; Ahmed Mohamed Al Hameeri, Secretary-General of Presidential Court; Ahmed Juma Al Zaabi, Adviser to the UAE President; along with a number of senior officials were also present.
