Ibrahim Al-Jarwan, EAS Board Chairman: A 40% partial solar eclipse will be witnessed on October 25, 2022, between 3 pm and 5 pm local time.

The crescent will not be seen on Tuesday evening because the eclipse is the birth of the new crescent, therefore astronomically, Thursday, October 27, shall mark the first of the month of Rabi’ al-Thani, meaning that 5 months are left until the blessed month of Ramadan.
