H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, today visited GITEX Global 2022, which is being held at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).
Sheikh Saif toured the different pavilion of the most prominent innovative technical local and global enterprises and took stock of the innovative technologies and digital strategic projects including metaverse technologies, AI, cybersecurity, and smart application designed to respond to the needs of society, in line with the community directives to ensure the digital transformation.
H.H. Lt. Gen. Sheikh Saif’s visit included the pavilions of the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Center, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) HUAWEI, Tahaluf El Emarat Technical Solutions, (MICROSOFT), DONO, (AMAZON), and ( XPENG AEROHT).
He was briefed by the pavilions and platforms officials about sophisticated techniques and state-of-the-art technologies on display, as well as the technical and electronic protection initiatives, including local and governmental digital solutions, AI, cybersecurity projects and the activation of digital systems.
