October 25… The world to witness a “partial solar eclipse”

Ibrahim Al-Jarwan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Astronomy Society: The world will witness a partial solar eclipse on October 25th, which will be 50% visible in the UAE when the moon covers the Sun’s surface.

The solar eclipse is expected to start at 2:42 PM and end at 04:54 UAE time.
