The expected weather in the UAE from 14 to 18 August

The National Center of Meteorology announces the expected weather in the country from Sunday 14 to Thursday 18 August:

• The region is expected to be affected by an air trough that extends from the east to the west, accompanied by an extension of an air depression in the upper atmosphere, leading to the flow of moist air masses from the Arabian Sea and Oman Sea towards the region and the country.

• The depression will form and develop some convective rainy clouds over some areas, especially in the eastern and southern regions of the country.

• Chance of convective clouds formation accompanied by rainfall of different intensity with lightning and thunder in some eastern areas, Al Ain and its southern regions, and extending over some interior and western areas with a drop in temperatures.
