UAE President receives Iraqi Prime Minister on sidelines of Jeddah Security and Development Summit

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today received Dr. Mustafa Al Kadhimi, Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq, on the sidelines of the Jeddah Security and Development Summit, which is currently taking place in Jeddah.

During the meeting, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed and Dr. Al Kadhimi discussed ways to enhance their bilateral relations to serve their interests of their countries, as well as advancing their cooperation and coordination across a number of developmental, economic and investment sectors. They also exchanged views on a number of regional and global issues of mutual concern.

The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser, H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Dr. Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the UAE President, Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Supreme National Security Council, and Khaldoun Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority.

Attending from the Iraqi side were Ali Allawi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Fuad Hussein, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ihsan Abdul Jabbar Ismail, Minister of Oil, and Alaa Al Jabouri, Minister of Trade.
