Landslide kills six in Côte d’Ivoire, 50 threatened areas evacuated

At least 6 people have died in a landslide caused by heavy rainfall in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.

Local authorities said that Mossikro and Attécoubé were the most affected by the landslide.

In a proactive effort to avoid future deaths, teams from the Police, Civil Protection and the Military Fire Service (GSPM) have, so far, evacuated around 50 areas that may be affected by landslides.
