Abu Dhabi: Fire caused by explosion in restaurant under control

Abu Dhabi Police and Abu Dhabi Civil Defense teams have controlled the fire caused by the explosion of a gas cylinder in Al Khalidiya area – Abu Dhabi.

Initial information indicates the presence of injuries and damages in some of the shops, and the building was evacuated as a precautionary measure.

The teams are proceeding with operations at the incident site, stressing the importance of obtaining information from official sources and refraining from circulating media materials for the sake of the injured and their families feelings.
