Sharjah Police arrest 94 beggars since the beginning of Ramadan

Sharjah Police have arrested 94 beggars since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, where most of them were found to be on visit visas, while others were UAE residents.

International money transfers receipts of various amounts were also found in their possession.

One of the beggars was arrested with more than AED 44,000, another with AED12,000, and the third had more than AED 9,000. The public is urged to report beggars via 80040 or 901.
