Abu Dhabi: 11 convicted of defrauding insurance companies

Abu Dhabi Criminal Court sentenced 11 gang members to imprisonment for periods ranging from one to 10 years and deportation of all foreign defendants after they were convicted of defrauding insurance companies by purchasing vehicles and insuring them at a price higher than their actual price and deliberately fabricating traffic accidents that lead to the vehicle’s total loss, then claim the compensation amounts.
