During media briefing.. UAE updates protocol for organizing prayers in mosques during Ramadan

Dr. Taher Al-Amiri, official spokesman for “NCEMA”:

• We announce several updates on the protocol for organizing prayers in mosques for the blessed month of Ramadan.

• The new update stipulates that women’s prayer halls will return to normal during the holy month in addition to the resumption of daily mosque lessons after Al-Asr or Al-Isha prayers, and the UAE President’s guests scholars lectures in mosques.

• Canned drinking water distribution to worshippers will be allowed.

• Maintaining a distance of one meter between worshipers while allowing Tarawih prayers to be held throughout the holy month, and Tahajjud prayers in the last ten days of Ramadan, according to certain regulations.

• The update also stipulates that the alignment of worshipers should be modified to be in a straight (vertical) line instead of an (X) shape in order to facilitate the entry and exit process.03:57 PMBARQ SMS SenderBS
