5.0 magnitude earthquake hits southern Iran, felt in UAE

A 5.0 magnitude earthquake on the Richter Scale was recorded in South Iran at 03:15 UAE local time, according to the National Seismic Network of the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

The NCM said in a statement the earthquake was felt by residents without any effect in UAE.
