Astronomically.. Friday, March 4, first day of Sha’ban

Ibrahim Al-Jarwan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Astronomical Society: It is possible to sight Sha’ban crescent on Thursday evening, March 3, so Friday, March 4 shall mark the first day of Sha’ban 1443 AH.

Astronomically it is expected that Saturday, April 2, shall be the first day of Ramadan.
