• Efforts continue to monitor the pandemic and its developments, to ensure the safe return to normalcy, maintain public health and protect the health and safety of students, teachers and administrative staff in educational establishments. to face-to-face education starting from January 31.
• Under the framework of the ongoing monitoring of current developments, we announce the return to physical in-person education in two groups. The first group will return to their schools on 24th January.

• The first group will include early childhood students, elementary education students, 12th-grade students or 13th-grade students-in the British education system, and students who will undergo international examinations.
• The first group also comprises higher education students who will need to present a Green Pass.
• The second group will include the remaining education levels, who are set to return on 31st January.
• School trips are suspended until further notice, while sports and cultural activities in schools will continue to apply relevant.
• The green pass system on the Al Hosn App will apply to parents before they enter educational establishments, along with a negative PCR test taken within 96 hours.
• The Ministry of Education has adopted several precautionary measures to ensure the smooth return of the in-person education system. All students are required to show a negative PCR test taken within 96 hours, and then required to undergo a PCR test every two weeks.

• The remote learning option is still available for parents who want their children to continue education remotely while the pandemic in the country is re-evaluated.
• School administrations will contact parents directly and provide them with information on the learning system and the current health situation.
• We urge parents to start undergoing PCR tests to avoid overcrowding in testing facilities and to assure the safety and health of all.
• These standards are subject to change according to the latest requirements of health authorities.
