UAE announces new federal government structure

The United Arab Emirates on Saturday announced a new federal government structure for the next 50 years.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, took to Twitter today to make the announcement.

“After consulting with Mohammed bin Zayed and approval of President Shiekh Khalifa bin Zayed, today we announce the new structure of the federal government in the UAE and a new approach for the federal government work for the next fifty years”,said Sheikh Mohammed in a series of tweets.

“The new approach comes with achieving our previous plan, “Vision 2021″, during which we achieved our ambitions for the past ten years. The UAE today leads the world in 100 development indicators and leads the region in 470 governmental, economic and technical indicators. We plan for the new fifty with different global ambitions”, His Highness added.

“We need to improve the tools of change that we use, as we will rely on the new approach of government work to accelerate our achievements, set priorities, and approve projects and budgets. We request all federal institutions to follow and commit to the new approach”, Sheikh Mohammed tweeted.

The new government structure includes:
