“Mars and Mercury” conjunction will be visible in the sky of the UAE

Ibrahim Al-Jarwan, member of the Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Sciences: The Earth is witnessing this evening, Wednesday and tomorrow, Thursday, August 19, special conjunction of the two planets “Mars and Mercury” after sunset for an hour above the western horizon.

The apparent distance between the two planets will be 0.08 degrees at the peak of the conjunction at 8:00 am UAE local time, it can be visible with the naked eye in the sky of the UAE.
