UAE announces exemption categories for these countries

The UAE announces the exclusion of new categories of travelers from some countries from which entry has been prohibited, including: India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Nigeria and Uganda, as of Thursday, August 5, 2021, who are:

• Holders of valid residence permits who have passed 14 days from receiving the second vaccine dose in the UAE and hold vaccination certificates approved by the official authorities in the country.

• Vaccinated and non-vaccinated medical cadres working in the UAE, including doctors, nurses, technicians and those working in the educational sector who teach in universities, colleges, schools and institutes.

• Vaccinated and non-vaccination students studying in the UAE, humanitarian cases who hold valid residency visa and workers in federal and local government entities. In addition to medical patients who receive treatment in the UAE.
