During the UAE government media briefing.. Vaccinated fans to attend the finals of the UAE President’s Cup 2021

• The UAE advanced to 8th place worldwide & maintained its 1st position in Arab world on Bloomberg’s Covid-19 Resilience Ranking, achieving 69.7 points on general index. Thus, it’s among top 10 countries ahead of China, Finland, Denmark, Canada & Switzerland.

• Appreciation to all community members who chose to vaccinate to protect themselves, families&community.This is what we are accustomed to by all UAE citizens & residents. We call on other groups to start getting vaccine & contribute to protecting community.

• The UAE provides vaccination free, and optional for all citizens and residents who wish to do so, and it can be obtained provided that there is no pre-existing health condition, or symptoms that prevent this after the specialist doctor’s assessment.

• “Tahajjud” Prayers will be held during the last ten days of the holy Month of Ramadan, in accordance with the controls and precautionary measures in place, similar to the “Taraweeh” prayers.

• It was decided to limit Tahajjud Prayer’s time to 30 minutes between 12:00-12:30am across UAE. You must abide by all precautionary measures in place &close mosques immediately after prayers, ensuring that sitting and I’tikaaf is not allowed.

• The UAE Presidents Cup 2021 will be held on May 16th between 2 qualified teams with 30% return of audience. & following precautionary measures. It’s the first official event that only vaccine recipients & its clinical trials participants are allowed to attend. Taking into account the audience commitment to show a negative test result within a maximum of 48 hours prior to the match, and the letter “E” must be visible in their vaccination app.
