• The UAE’s success in handling the pandemic was driven by the wise leadership’s insight, which included developing strategies, launching initiatives, and directing the competent institutions and departments to play their great national and humanitarian role to present a great example to the whole world.

• During the pandemic, the Emirates society have experienced many challenges, such as “physical distancing” and “home quarantine,” which are the most important precautionary measures. These challenges reflected on the individual and society behavior by increasing family bond and community solidarity.

• “Virtual weddings” and “weddings without parties” have significantly increased with uncompromised joy. The community commitment was manifested in health and social terms according to customs and values rooted in Emirati society.

• These virtual weddings enhanced preventive measures, preserved the families’ health, and limited hefty wedding costs.

• A recent study conducted by the Ministry of Community Development to measure the pandemic’s impact on the Emirati society showed that the measures taken by the UAE have positively contributed to enhancing family cohesion and bonding by 97%.

• The study showed that the UAE strategy in handling the pandemic repercussions contributed to spreading reassurance and a sense of safety among community members by nearly 98%.

• Remote work and community support have achieved a high happiness rate among society members, reaching nearly 98%.

• 96% of poll participants asserted that the UAE’s peculiar way of handled the challenges resulting from the crisis by compensating the affected groups and supporting SMEs in support of multiple economic activities.
