Sharjah: New measures against COVID-19

The Sharjah Emergency Crisis and Disaster Team announce new measures to help address the “Covid-19” pandemic at the emirate level:

• Employees of government and Semi-government entities in the emirate who attend the workplace must undergo a weekly PCR test.

• Biweekly (PCR) for service providers in the private sector, while those who received the vaccine within the national vaccination program and volunteers in clinical trials of “Covid-19” vaccines are excluded.

• Concerts and musical events suspension for a period of 4 weeks, subject to extension according to health developments.

• A maximum of 10 people in marriage ceremonies and family events, and 20 people in funerals while avoiding the crowd. Pallbearers to be limited to 4-8 people.
