New guidelines and protocols in Ajman

As part of the endeavor to protect the safety of society and to limit the speed of spread of coronavirus “COVID-19”, the Department of Economic Development (DED) in Ajman announced the new guidelines and protocols to be applied in the Emirate.

New guidelines and protocols are as follows:

• Cafes, snack shops, and restaurants are to close at 12am with an operation capacity of 50% only.
• A maximum of 50 people to attend weddings and social events.

DED tweeted: “The supervisory authorities will implement inspection campaigns to ensure compliance with these requirements and to take administrative and legal measures against violators”.
