Dr. Saif Al Dhaheri, the spokesman of NCEMA:
• The response of the community members to the COVID-19 national campaign for vaccination raises the efficiency to achieve a sustainable recovery, which is in line with national priorities in the planning phase of recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic.
• Despite the increase in the number of cases in the country, the UAE has the ability to handle the cases through a flexible approach in dealing with the developments.
• Tremendous efforts have resulted in an increase in the demand for vaccine, as part of a national plan to reach more than 50% of the population during the first quarter of this year in an effort to reach the acquired societal immunity resulting from vaccination.
• The UAE is at the forefront of the countries in the world that conducted tests for Corona virus, compared to the total population.
• Compliance with precautionary measures is one of the most important tools to deal with the pandemic, and therefore violators of these measures face penalties as a result of their negligence, this includes both institutions and individuals.
• We emphasize that taking the vaccine has become a humanitarian and moral duty for all, for the health and safety of the community and in support of the national efforts to overcome this pandemic.
• We call on everyone to abide by all declared measures to protect you, your family and your community and not to circulate rumors and seek information from their official sources.
• Dealing with the current health challenge and overcoming it requires solidarity and responsible community awareness. The most effective way to achieve that is through the vaccine to get back to normal life & to protect ourselves, our families & our communities.
