Saudi Arabia will reopen its airspace and land and sea borders to Qatar, Kuwait’s foreign minister said on Monday.
“Based on (Emir) Sheikh Nawaf’s proposal, it was agreed to open the airspace and land and sea borders between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the State of Qatar, starting from this evening,” Sheikh Ahmad Nasser Al-Sabah said on state TV.
The announcement came on the eve of the GCC summit in AlUla chaired by King Salman.
Qatar said its ruler Sheikh Tamim would attend the summit for the first time since the dispute erupted.
