‘Tajer Abu Dhabi’ license holders granted an additional year to operate without a business location

A Ghadan 21 initiative, the Tajer Abu Dhabi Licence has been extended to support entrepreneurs and attract more micro, small and medium-sized enterprise (MSME) owners to Abu Dhabi amid the economic challenges of COVID-19.

Strengthening the role of the private sector by enabling startups and entrepreneurs, the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi is offering SMEs a 1-year extension on its ‘Tajer Abu Dhabi’ licence. This will enable businesses to operate in AbuDhabi without a business location for 4 years.
