The UAE to witness the Geminids meteor shower next week

Ibrahim Al Jarwan, member of the Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Sciences: The Geminids meteor showers peak during this time of the year, where the constellation Gemini shines on the eastern side of the sky. They are often bright, colorful, and dense and will be sighted in the UAE after 10 PM on December 13 and 14, especially with the favorable weather and weak or faded moonlight.
