Ajman Police arrest the phone scam gang

Ajman Police have managed to apprehend an Asian gang of three members who practised phone scams and misappropriate more than 2 million and 800 thousand dirhams.

After the police had received a report from a woman who fell prey to phone fraud when someone contacted her to update her bank information and withdrew an amount of AED 10,000 from her balance.

Ajman Police calls on the public to not believe such phone hoax calls and to immediately report scammers.
