Lost his money as a result of an affair

Dubai Public Prosecution has referred an African man to the criminal court on the charges of theft, as he had lured a 47-year-old man via WhatsApp with the assistance of two fugitives impersonating a character of a woman to meet him at an apartment.

Upon his arrival, he was attacked by 4 men and 4 women who threatened him with a burning tool to obtain the PIN of his bank cards and misappropriated more than AED 19,000.
