Ras Al Khaimah Police: The death of a 12-year-old citizen and the injury of two others (13 years and 11 years) with severe and minor injuries last Thursday evening in a traffic accident on an unpaved and unlit road at Al Ghayl area in Ras Al Khaimah. Where The car was driven by a 13-year-old adolescent who does not own a driving license.
Brigadier General Dr. Muhammad Saeed Al-Hamidi, Director General of Central Operations at Ras Al Khaimah Police said that the operation room had received a report about the accident at exactly 8:30 p.m last Thursday.
The police patrols and the national ambulance immediately rushed to the scene, where they found the car crashed as a result of sudden swerve and the12-year-old child was dead. The driver was seriously injured, while the third child suffered minor injuries and the vehicle was severely damaged. The body of the deceased and the injured were immediately transferred to the Al Dhaid Public Hospital in the Emirate of Sharjah, where the driver was admitted to the intensive care unit while appropriate treatment was provided to the other injured who left the hospital, and the body of the deceased was delivered to his relatives.
His Excellency stressed that parents must keep an eye on their children and to not allow them to drive cars before obtaining driving licenses.
