Dubai: Woman impersonates Real Estates agent and appropriates flat rent

Dubai Public Prosecution referred a jobless woman of Asian nationality to Misdemeanor Court, as she impersonated a real estate agent, forged a residential flat lease contract in Dubai and used it in cheating so as to appropriate the money of the tenant – victim woman and promoted her to pay an amount of 39,610.

The tenant discovered that she fell victim to cheating and fraud by a fictitious company. Therefore, she asked the accused woman to return her money. Thus, the accused committed another offense as she sought help of other unknown persons to write a fake cheque of the same amount as paid by the victim with the intention to cover up the first incident of cheating.
