ADP: Crossing red light causes serious damages

Abu Dhabi Police warns motorists against crossing red light, as it may lead to serious traffic accidents. The violation of crossing the red light for light vehicles incurs a fine of AED 1000, 12 traffic points and the vehicle impoundment for 30 days, while a fine of AED 3000 and one year driving license suspension for trucks.
