Mohammed Bin Rashid announces bonus for workers in vital sectors

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Monday chaired a cabinet meeting during which announced that the UAE governmentwe have decided to develop the federal board of directors governance to ensure transparency and avoid conflicts of the board members interests with the company’s activity in addition to enhancing the control and regulatory mechanisms.

We have decided to establish “Al Etihad Digital Payments company” which is a national institution aiming to provide fast and secure digital payment services to all sectors. Our institutions are keeping pace with the national digital economy development, His highness added.

We have also approved a system and criteria to grant bonuses for workers in vital jobs during emergencies, as we need to value the relentless efforts of those who stood still during the crisis. The UAE will continue to attribute the best to everyone, His highness added.
