Movement restriction as of Wednesday 27 Ramadan

Dr.. Saif Al Dhaheri, the official spokesperson for the National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority:

– The public movement will be restricted starting from 8 PM until 6 AM of the following day as of Wednesday 27 Ramadan 1441, corresponding May 20, until further notice.

– Food outlets, cooperative societies, groceries, supermarkets, and pharmacies continue to operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during the disinfection program.

– Commercial centers will operate from 9 AM until 7 PM, starting from 27 Ramadan, with the implementation of all precautionary measures. New timing will be announced later after Eid.

– Shopping period in commercial centers should not exceed 2 hours, in order to reduce the crowding, and to maintain 30% capacity of shoppers within the commercial centers.
