The Federal Supreme Court sentenced a coiffure, a man and his fiancée of Arab nationality to life imprisonment for drugs possession. The first was arrested while trying to sell hashish to a Dubai Police source, while the woman admitted that she had smuggled drugs from her homeland after her fiancé promised to marry her and find her a job in the country.
They were all sentenced to two additional years in prison on the charges of drug use, while a fourth defendant was acquitted.
