GCAA denies allegations concerning operating flights with Iran amid COVID-19 outbreak

Wam: Concerning the allegations regarding granting the Iranian carrier “Mahan Air” an open permission to operate its flights to and from the country during the months of February and March, causing the outbreak of Coronavirus in the country .. The General Authority of Civil Aviation: the landing permits were granted to some companies for repatriating Iranian citizens stranded in the country as is the case with any evacuation flights to other countries. Noting that the arriving flights carried no passengers on board.
