Launching Al-Hosn application to identify people who are at risk of COVID-19 infection

Dr. Amna Al-Dhahak, official spokesperson for the Emirates government:

• Launching Al-Hosn application, which enables the competent health authorities to quickly identify people who are at risk of COVID-19 infection, to be contacted and tested.
  
• The application provides a service that shows the extent of commitment of those who were instructed of home isolation, in order to protect them and for the safety of the public.
  
• Each application user will have a unique QR code symbolizing their health, which enables them to reach and interact with public places safely and with more contentment.
  
• The application depends on using the short-range signals of the Bluetooth technology, to show whether the person is close to people who have had contact with people who have tested positive for the virus and who have the same application installed on their smartphones.
