BIE agrees to delay Dubai Expo 2020

The Bureau International des Expositions has agreed to postpone Expo 2020 Dubai from October 1, 2021, to March 31, 2022.  However, changing the dates of an Expo requires the support of a two-thirds majority of Member States of the BIE. Therefore, they will be called upon to vote on the Executive Committee’s recommendation remotely between April 24 and May 29.
