Spreading rumors is a punishable crime

Abu Dhabi Police illustrates that penal sanctions will be imposed on anyone who deliberately broadcasts fake, malicious news, data, rumors, or propaganda which may disturb the public security or interest. The police warns the public against circulating rumors on social media, especially during this critical period.
