Mohammed bin Rashid attends the first day of distance learning

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, attended today the first day of distance learning.

His Highness said via his Twitter account, “Today I attended the first day of distance learning in the country’s educational institutions.. One million two hundred thousand students were enrolled in our government schools, private schools and national universities .. schools are suspended.. and universities are closed … but education will not stop .. education like health will never stop their provision in whatever circumstances.”

We have invested alot in smart learning during the past ten years .. Today we reap the fruit .. We have smart systems in our schools .. and an integrated infrastructure .. We also have the “Madrasa” platform that contains thousands of educational scientific lessons ready for all stages … We planted efforts… and today, we harvest continuous knowledge and perception.

I thank Mrs. Amal Zaid Nasser .. With her students from Al Majd Model School in Sharjah to host me in their class … The experience is new for everyone .. And parents have a big role in supporting the success of this educational stage .. as the other option is to give up academic terms for our generations .. and no one can accept that, His Highness added.
