The UAE Attorney General: Violating instructions to curb “Coronavirus” is a crime

The Attorney General, Dr. Hamad Saif Al Shamsi stated that violating instructions and procedures issued by the competent authorities in the country to limit the spread of the Corona virus, is a crime punishable by the laws of the country.

Everyone arriving from abroad must adhere to the duration of the home isolation in his place of residence for a period of 14 days, and must implement the instructions issued later by the competent authorities. Violating the home isolation procedures, leaving the residence and interacting with others is considered a violation of the law provisions and public order, and endangering the health and safety of public. The Public Prosecution will strictly apply the law to anyone who violates these instructions.
