A local woman died in a traffic accident in Ras Al-Khaimah

Ras Al-Khaimah Police: The death of a local woman aged in the fourties and minor to moderate injuries of 4 others in a severe collision accident this afternoon at Al Jazirah Al Hamra area in Ras Al-Khaimah.

His Excellency Brigadier Abdullah Ali Menkhies, Director General of Police Operations in Ras Al Khaimah Police said that the national ambulance and police patrols in addition to a helicopter rushed to the scene upon receiving the report. The injured were transported by plane to the Sheikh Khalifa Specialist Hospital and Saqr Governmental Hospital to receive the necessary medical care, while the competent police authorities received the accident file to complete the legal procedures.

His Excellency also called on road users and drivers to comply with the traffic regulations, laws and speed limits for their safety and to avoid such unfortunate traffic accidents.
