Asian woman on trial for performing aesthetic procedures without obtaining a license

Abu Dhabi Court of Appeal postponed the case of an Asian woman at today’s hearing, who was accused of practicing commercial activity such as skin tightening without obtaining a license from the competent authorities. The defendant appealed the verdict which included financial penalty and deportation, after being caught with others engaged in activities that require a set of conditions to be followed, before practicing.

The competent authorities had referred the defendant to the judiciary after receiving information about an Asian woman who visits lady’s beauty salons and hunt clients who want to perform skin aesthetic procedures.
