Weather alert: Thunderstorms and freezing rain are expected in the UAE today

Weather forecast for Tuesday will be “partly cloudy to cloudy in general with a chance of rainfall over scattered areas, associated with thunder at times especially over the Northern and Eastern areas with an decrease in temperatures across the country”.

Thunderstorms and freezing rain are expected in the UAE today and the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has advised residents to take precautions.

The NCM has also warned about fog formation and poor visibility over internal and coastal areas.

There will be a significant drop in temperature with a chance of rainfall.
