The National center of meteorology expects unstable weather condition due to extension of surface high pressure accompanied with an upper air western trough and cold air mass from 9 to 13 Jan.
The center said in a statement that the depression will lead to increase of clouds over most areas of the country with some convective clouds accompanied by rainfall of different intensities on scattered areas with a chance of lightning, thunder and hail at times.
The unstable weather will start from Thursday afternoon on the western, some eastern mountain regions and the sea then extends and intensify gradually over most areas of the country on Friday and Saturday, and clouds gradually decrease from Saturday evening with decrease in temperature, especially on the mountain highlands with the possibility of frozen water.
During Sunday and Monday, the weather conditions will weaken generally, and the weather will be cloudy to partly cloudy in some areas with a chance of rainfall in some coastal, northern and eastern regions.
The winds are southeasterly to northeasterly will become southwestern to northwestern. From Friday night wind will be fresh to strong on the sea with clouds leading to blowing dust on exposed areas.
