UAE bank to pay AED 4.9 M to a “customer”

Dubai Court sentenced a local bank to pay back AED 4.9 M to a Gulf customer whose account balance was completely embezzled by a bank employee with the assistance of another defendant where he used a person who looks like the victim to collect the money. The court obliged the bank and the defendants to pay the fees and expenses.
