A garments company on trial for delaying salaries

Abu Dhabi Court of Appeal postpones the ruling on a ready-made garment company accused of delaying salaries. The company director and one of the partners attended the hearing and admitted that there was a delay in payment and said: “We have been late in paying salaries for only 4 days for the first time since 24 years, and then we paid within the one month grace period.”

They requested for the company acquittance and to cancel the first instance court verdict which penalized the company AED 73,000.
